John Edwards Booked
Booked and could go to prison. He has been a very naughty boy? A few years ago he was the golden boy an appeared to be the all American candidate for president. He was almost the professional candidate and all would have been utopia accept for his sudden fall from grace and that possible prison tour he is now facing.

Who is perfect?
The phrase "What would pure and respectable folk think." comes to mind as I watch the news about the John Edwards sex scandal. I can hear all the "talking heads" on CNN talking about the fall out from the scandal. There is nothing good in this news. CNN and a number of news organizations are outside his home watching for him and waiting for anything to happen. His wife, kids, and family (mother, father, sisters, brothers) are having to hear about this for the first time or live it all over again. This news is about as important as Britney Spears panties. No offense to Britney or her panties we wish them well. But in the words of the great Britney Spears "oops I did it again.." says the politician who had sex outside of marriage. No one should be surprised by this news.

The prize (White House)
We have three solid leaders currently running for president. All three are good decent hard working Americans that want to serve the country. The process we put them though to apply for the job is very expensive, difficult, an intense. Imagine trying to apply for a job an being interviewed by the entire United States of America. YIKES! It seems to me that we really need to find out more about there skill set instead of where they go to church and all the other silly things that the media seem focus on. Lets choose a president that is hard working, smart, flexible, charismatic, and well spoken. Most of all the person who takes the Office Of The President has to be able to see many shades of gray.
Good luck Mr. OR Mrs. President.

International Prevailing Wage.
A Simple Idea.
Basic problem
Why not implement an international prevailing wage for all companies that choose to send work overseas. The overseas worker would be paid at the same level as an American. If companies are required to pay overseas workers at a rate comparable to current American wages it would level the playing field.
Examples of local implementation's of a prevailing wage.
Massachusetts

Michigan

Ohio

The details need to be hammered out! Is the concept any good? Is it protectionist?
